monocorp exists to feed embodied ai with the real world

foundation models for robots are starving for data. the internet has trillions of words but almost no first-person footage of someone folding laundry or using a drill the way people actually do.

so we contract workers on the ground and fit them with calibrated head rigs and body-worn sensors. they cook, clean, stock shelves and fix things like they do every day, and the cameras catch all of it.

you can think of us as "staffing agency" meets "data pipeline".

capture every kind of motion

we take on anything from a single scripted scenario to thousands of hours across multiple sites. if a human can do it, we can film it.

what to expect

send us your data spec. which scenarios, which environments, how many hours. or just browse our off-the-shelf datasets.

we contract the workers, fit the rigs and handle every release form. calibrated hardware, repeatable setups.

workers record through their normal shifts and every session goes through same-day qc. if a sensor drifted, we re-record.

footage ships anonymized and structured in your format, in weekly batches with full metadata and provenance docs.

who this is for

ai data platforms like appen and scale who need a reliable field-collection partner for their embodied-ai contracts.

humanoid labs training manipulation policies who need more human demonstrations than their own teleop rigs produce.

egocentric ai teams building smart glasses and world models who need thousands of hours of first-person life.

built for frontier teams

case 01

kitchen manipulation corpus

1,200 hours of first-person cooking filmed in 80 real home kitchens. every episode is narrated and shot from multiple views with synced hand imu streams.

case 02

custom scripted collection

a data platform needed 500 repetitions of 40 scripted household tasks for a robotics client. recorded by dozens of contracted workers in their own homes, shipped in six weeks.

case 03

warehouse motion library

full-body imu and video of picking and palletizing in live facilities. thousands of episodes full of the edge cases simulation never generates.

questions?

what formats do you deliver?

mp4/mkv video, mcap, hdf5, rlds/tfds, lerobot-compatible datasets, or raw synced streams with calibration files. tell us your pipeline and we'll match it.

what hardware do you capture with?

head-mounted and chest-mounted camera rigs, imu body suits, instrumented gloves, and calibrated multi-camera third-person setups, all time-synced. custom rigs on request.

is the footage properly consented?

yes. every worker signs a release covering commercial ml training use, and bystanders are handled by location agreements or anonymization. full provenance documentation ships with every dataset.

how do you handle pii?

faces, screens, license plates, and bystander audio are blurred or redacted before delivery by default. we can also deliver raw-with-releases where your use case requires it.

can you collect against a custom spec?

that's most of what we do. send the spec and we'll return a sample collection within two weeks.

who owns the data?

you choose the license: exclusive buyout, non-exclusive license, or subscription to our growing off-the-shelf library. exclusivity is priced accordingly.

how does pricing work?

per hour of delivered footage, priced by sensor loadout and exclusivity. samples are free and come with an exact quote.
